Batal Dzhapua Exhibition to Open in Ankara

An exhibition featuring reproductions of works by renowned Abkhaz artist and People’s Artist of Abkhazia Batal Dzhapua will be held in Ankara from 7 to 13 September, organised by the Federation of Caucasian Associations (KAFFED) and the Ankara Circassian Association.

Through his distinctive artistic language, Dzhapua’s work reflects Abkhazia’s cultural memory, its people and natural environment, as well as the philosophy of life that has shaped the region. The exhibition aims to contribute to strengthening cultural and artistic ties between Abkhazia and the Circassian community in Türkiye.

As part of the programme, Batal Dzhapua will meet art enthusiasts and members of the community through a talk, the exhibition opening and a masterclass.

The exhibition of reproductions of Batal Dzhapua’s works will officially open in the presence of the artist.

Tuesday, 8 September | 13:00–15:00
Masterclass – Zafer Fine Arts Gallery

Batal Dzhapua will share his artistic practice and experience with participants in a special masterclass.
