On participation in the international forum "Legacy of the Olympic and Paralympic Games : innovation, technology, personnel"

On February 15 the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia, comprising the Chairman of the State Committee on Youth and Sports Shazina Avidzba, her Deputy Yuri Logua and the Deputy Foreign Minister Irakly Khintba took part in the international forum "Legacy of the Olympic and Paralympic Games: innovation, technology, personnel" held in the Sochi State University (SSU).

The delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia was officially presented at the forum along with the delegations of the United Kingdom, Canada, the USA, Switzerland, China , Greece, Russia, Austria, Germany and other countries. Before the plenary session the Abkhazian delegation met with the rector of the SSU Galina Romanova. At the meeting were discussed the prospects for joint work in the field of training of sports specialists, as well as intensification of youth dialogue between Russia and Abkhazia.

"In the fields " of the conference the members of the Abkhazian delegation talked with professors of several western universities, as well as representatives of national Olympic committees. Issues of cooperation in the field of sports, youth policy and education, as well as practical aspects of the use of the latest technologies and the growth of culture of volunteerism in Abkhazia were discussed. Representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia informed their foreign colleagues about the socio-economic and political aspects of the development of Abkhazia, the current situation in the country and the prospects for the development of sports and tourism infrastructure. Members of the Abkhazian delegation invited the forum participants to visit Abkhazia.
