At the invitation of the president of the Republic of Abkhazia Chamber of Trade and Industry, a meeting took place today at the Republic of Abkhazia Chamber of Trade and Industry with entrepreneurs from Turkey. The prospects for doing business in Abkhazia and issues connected with business activity were discussed at the meeting.

A Delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia, including the sales-representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Russia Federation, Oleg Bartsits, and executives of "The International Cultural-Business Centre of the Republic of Abkhazia", Oleg Lakoba and Pëtr Berëz, has over recent days been on a business-trip in Berlin, Germany.

On Monday, December 23, Alexander Ankvab signed the Law of the Republic of Abkhazia on the Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Government of the Russian Federation on trade regime.

A delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with RA Deputy Prime Minister Aleksander Stranichkin is visiting Tunisia.

Alexander Ankvab met with the Minister for Taxes and Fees Rauf Tsimtsba.

The minister reported on the state of affairs with tax payments to the budget. For the time being the budget received Rub 1 billion 886 million as compared to the planned Rub 2 billion 22 million.
