Alexander Ankvab commissions Finance Ministry to strengthen control over budget spending
The President has held a meeting on the execution of the budget. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance Vladimir Delba implementation of the budget made 85, 5 percent in January-April. For this period the state budget has received Rub 104 million less.
Vladimir Delba informed that arrears of land taxes and payments for the state property lease were growing.
The President commissioned to take immediate measures for monitoring all taxpayers for the payment of land tax, to perform an audit of leased properties agreements and in case of need to submit proposals on possible unilateral termination of the agreements.
The Minister of Taxes and Fees Rauf Tsimtsba added they were ready to make the names of non-payers public.
Alexander Ankvab commissioned the Ministry of Finance to strengthen control over budget spending and to start the work on optimizing budgetary expenses for improving their efficiency.
Ministers of Finance, Taxes and Fees, and the Chairman of the State Customs Committee will keep the President regularly inform on how these commissions are executed.
