Rector of the Abkhazian State University, Aleko Gvaramia, awarded the international prize "United Europe"

Rector of the Abkhazian State University, Aleko Gvaramia, was awarded the international prize "United Europe" in Oxford (UK) on 20 June; the nomination was "For contribution to science”.

The founders of the international award "United Europe" were the European Business Assembly and the ‘Socrates’ Nomination Committee in collaboration with influential non-governmental organisations and professional and creative unions from 16 countries.

Rector of the Abkhazian State University, Aleko Gvaramia, has been a member of ‘The Club of the Rectors of Europe’ since May 2009. The official presentation of the certificate and mantle took place at Oxford University at the Oxford summit of the leaders.

The Oxford leaders’ summit is one of the most representative business-events in the south-east of Great Britain. The organisers of the Oxford summit of leaders of business, science and art are the ‘European Business Assembly’, the ‘Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group’, the ‘Club of Leaders international’, and the ‘International Club of the Rectors of Europe’.
