Gunba Calls for Unity and a Prosperous Future
During his speech, Gunba emphasised that his victory was not just personal but should be seen as a triumph for the Abkhazian people:
"This is not the victory of Badra Gunba and Beslan Bighvava’s team. This must be a victory for the people of Abkhazia. For the future of our country, we must stand united.
You all know what happened tonight. Unfortunately, the irresponsibility of certain individuals has led to a situation that I hope will not result in tragedy. Every person, every citizen of our country deserves to live in a free, independent, and prosperous nation.
We must create the conditions for everyone to raise their children freely and in peace."
