İrfan Çağatay is one of the authors of the Great Laz Dictionary published in 2006 and has contributed extensively to various Laz publications, including the magazines Skani Nena and Tanura. He also founded the Laz literature magazine Uncire and published the first fully Laz newspaper in Turkey, Ağani Murutsxi. Throughout his career, Çağatay has dedicated himself to strengthening the Laz literary language and has played a key role in the publication and editorship of numerous Laz books.
