On the meeting with the representatives of the MFA of the Republic of Abkhazia in the People's Republic of China Ge Chzhili

On May 13 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia was held a meeting of the Foreign Minister Viacheslav Chirikba with the representatives of the MFA of the Republic of Abkhazia in the People's Republic of China Ge Chzhili. The diplomat presented a number of proposals for the development and strengthening of ties between China and Abkhazia, as well as in-depth cooperation in the field of agriculture and tourism.

"The work in the Asia-Pacific region remains one of the most important areas of the work of the Foreign Ministry. In particular, the work in the People's Republic of China, at the first stage, in the field of business and investments, exchange of students, joint scientific conferences and other initiatives can be a good basis for establishment of closer ties," - said Chirikba.

During the meeting were also discussed issues of optimization of the MFA work through its offices in the region.
