Abkhazian Parliament Speaker Meets EU's South Caucasus Representative

SUKHUM / AQW'A  ― Lasha Ashuba, the Speaker of the Abkhazian Parliament, met with a delegation of European diplomats led by the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Toivo Klaar, who arrived in Abkhazia.

According to the Abkhazian Parliament's website, the meeting participants discussed several topical issues related to the situation in the South Caucasus and exchanged views on ensuring regional security.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on International, Inter-Parliamentary Relations and Relations with Compatriots Alkhas Bartsits, Chairman of the Committee on Defense and National Security Temur Shergelia and his deputy Beslan Emurkhba, member of the Committee on Education, Science, Language Policy, Religion and Media Affairs Naur Narmania.
