SUKHUM / AQW'A ― As reported by the head of state's press service, President Aslan Bzhania recently held a meeting with a delegation from Kabardino-Balkaria (KBR).
Members of the KBR delegation included Timur Shardanov, who serves as chairman of the regional public organization "Veterans of the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia in 1992-1993," and Vladimir Pshinokov, the director of the Centre for the Study of the History and Culture of the Peoples of the Caucasus "Abaza."
The meeting, attended by Vice President Badra Gunba and presidential adviser on cooperation with veteran volunteers of the North Caucasus Rismag Adzhindzhal, focused on issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
During the meeting, the KBR delegates presented Abkhazia's President with a handmade cup, a gift from the head of Kabardino-Balkaria, Kazbek Kokov.
President Bzhania expressed his appreciation to Shardanov and Pshinokov for their commitment to fostering and solidifying the relationship between the republics, highlighting his deep respect for the fraternal people of KBR.
