SUKHUM / AQW’A —  The Association of Chechen Volunteers of the 1992–1993 Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia [Georgian-Abkhazian War], known as "Wolf Pack," has officially announced its support for Adgur Ardzinba in the upcoming presidential elections of the Republic of Abkhazia, scheduled for 15 February 2025.

In their statement, the association urged all veterans of the 1992–1993 Patriotic War and all citizens of Abkhazia to back Ardzinba's candidacy, expressing confidence that the elections would be conducted in an atmosphere of mutual respect and contribute to the prosperity of the Abkhaz state.

The full statement reads as follows:

"The Association of Chechen Volunteers of the 1992–1993 Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia, ‘Wolf Pack,’ supports the candidacy of Adgur Ardzinba in the upcoming presidential elections of the Republic of Abkhazia on 15 February 2025.

We urge all veterans of the 1992–1993 Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia and all citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia to support the candidacy of Adgur Ardzinba.

We are confident that the elections in the Republic of Abkhazia will be conducted with mutual respect and for the prosperity of the Abkhaz state."
